The Viewsat VS Pro is the newest and most powerful free to air receiver that Viewsat has ever released. This PVR ready receiver will allow you to connect an external USB hard drive and then you can record. This FTA receiver was initially designed to be a dual tuner PVR so the on-screen menus were created for true PVR functionality. In order to make this unit more affordable, Viewsat redesigned it to have a single tuner with the option of adding an external hard drive through either of two USB ports. The Viewsat VS Pro uses the fastest processor ever in the FTA market, a blazing 260MHz. I got my Brand New vs pro about 2 weeks ago & believe me if i can get it to work so can you, very easy to play with and get it working out of the box.....VS RULES BABY............

Love this reciever especially the new giu interface. I have only one issue with it the video option is locked to a 4:3 ntsc screen ratio no 16:9 as advertised. If not for that one issue I'd give it 5 stars.
