The VIEWSAT ULTRA is best selling Free To Air Receiver. With a faster processor (200 MHz), double the memory of the Xtreme (32 Mb SD RAM), and a USB communications port for easy data updates. Now you can use your USB flash drive to update your receiver. The new universal remote that comes with this unit is awesome. If that is not enough, wait until you see the new colorful Graphic User Interface. This is by far the best FTA STB the market has ever seen.

Bought the new v2 ultra. Works great, good improvements. I have the original ultra as well. Viewsat support is the best even though as of late the support hasn't been the best. Still a great unit.

Excellent unit. Has more or less the same features as the viewsat extreme and lite. But the USB support makes life a whole lot easier while flashing. The unit does have more memory and processing power and its well noticed when flipping through channels.

We have 2 VS Ultra and we find it remarkable. We've had many fta's in the past but this by far is the best - love the memory stick function.

I bought 2 of the Ultra models and been very happy with it.
One of them crapped out on me last week when I accidentally turned it off while in the middle of flashing.
Bringing it back to life was easy after I found the instructions on the net.
The unit is good as new after that!
