Great unit.. User rated 4/5

This unit works great with IKS. I have this unit and the nfusion nova. This bad boy works a lot better and does the same job as the nfusion.

Best IKS STB Out Right Now User rated 4/5
Reviewed by Eric on 20-3-2008 (USA)
I prefer this STB over the Nfusion. It has faster channel change times, better picture quality, and it has a USB connection for updating or PVR functions. The only thing lacking some what is the bins are still a little buggy and they need to add more channels to the IKS server. Overall I'd buy this over the Nfusion for sure.

NFusion is the past! Neosat is the present (and perhaps future... I hope) User rated 5/5

Recently upgraded from my CW800 to something better (and more capable). Here are some thoughts on my spanking new Neosat :)

The first thing I noticed is how slick the menu looks compared to the clunky and sluggish CW. Kudos for that :) The receiver design isn't that bad either, it's actually a bit smaller than I had expected (looking at the pictures). The remote is definitely way better than CW's remote. Reminds me of my old Sony TV's remote. So 4.5/5 for style.

Setting up was relatively easy as well. The whole process is painless and newbie-friendly as can be. Dead simple! Setting IKS was very easy too. There's also shortcut buttons on the remote for you to turn IKS/emu off/on at any time.

And what these reviews fail to tell you is how FAST this box is!!! It's faaaast. Took like 2 minutes or less to scan both 110/119 for me. That's FAST! Changing channels is also VERY fast on both cardless AND IKS (yeah... you, Nfusion...). Functionality: 5/5

This is not my first experience with IKS so I wasn't wowed. But Neosat is definitely a great FTA receiver. The main reason why I chose this over NFusion is due to the great cardless support of Neosat (now Neusat?). With NFusion, you need to be connected to the internet 24/7. It won't work without IKS. That's not the case with Neosat iPro. Most of the time I have IKS off and run on cardless :) Perfectly, I might add. When an ECM hits and other cardless boxes go down, I turn off emu and IKS on and BAM, tv's back :) I love this box. Want IKS but don't want to rely on it? Want NFusion but thinks it's slow and outdated? Neosat iPro 2000 is your answer. 5/5
