got a used coolsat from a friend for about $50 cant beat that :) works and all cant believe i, would recommend as main or even back up,setup menu is kinda weird but works right cant be to greedy :)

This reciever is a good looking unit and works well its easy to use and program for a newbie its good. Coolsat was once a awsome brand but lately it blows its down time is longer than 80% of the other recieves so i say its a poor device or has shyty programers go with the nfusion or captive works

Coolsat 5000 is truly a good stb. The menu is easy to use, loading bins is easy and EPG great! I am happy with this box, but not happy with the support it gets. All in all, good unit, needs to more support. A box is useless without support. I am giving it a 4, because the unit itself is great. oh yeah i forgot to add, the remote is good too!. It really feels good in the had.

I'm giving the lowest mark for C5000. This receiver has so bad support I'd never recommend to buy it to anyone. For last 2 years Coolsat has been the worst supporting FTA box. And frankly speaking if you only can see black screen, all good features make no sense.

I loved this STB . I bought 4 of them . But would never buy another Coolsat Product . There ia Absolutely NO Support . They abandoned their loyal customers. I previously bought 4 - 4000 pros and later 2 - 7000 PVR's These Boxes Now make great Doorstops! With all the competition out there Coolsat is the worst around.

This company - Coolsat - has abandoned a loyal bunch of people who have been with them through the years!! There is absolutely no reason to do this. If they return to supporting the 4K, 5K and 6K series the friends they HAD will return!! I am one of them.. if not.... they have lost more than money-- they have lost the future!! These boxes are still good -- all they need is a small amount of support -- it couldn't hurt!!
